Sally Ericsson is Associate Director for Natural Resources, Energy and Science at the White House Office of Management and Budget.  Previously she was a climate change policy consultant working with The Pacific Forest Trust to promote climate change policy that incorporates private forests as a climate mitigation tool and  Director of Outreach at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, where she worked with the Center's Business Environmental Leadership Council, a group of Fortune 500 corporations addressing issues related to climate change.  She also coordinated the Pew Center's outreach with state and local governments, Federal agencies, the U.S. Congress and nongovernmental organizations.

During the Clinton administration, Sally served as Associate Director for Natural Resources at the White House Council on Environmental Quality where she developed policy and coordinated Federal agency programs on a wide range of natural resource issues, including Everglades restoration, Pacific Northwest salmon, and California water policies.  She also was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Management and Associate Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Prior to her work with the Clinton administration, Sally was Assistant to the President for Policy and Research for the Service Employees International Union and spent eight years on Capitol Hill on the staffs of Speaker "Tip" O'Neill, Representative Sam Gejdenson, and Senator John Kerry.

Sally holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and a Bachelors Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois.
