Plug-In Information

Some content on the www.restorethegulf.gov web site may require certain software and/or plug-ins to be viewable. Most software vendors offer versions of their plug-ins for each computer platform type (i.e., Windows, Macintosh, Linux, etc...)

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. ยง 552a (e)(3), requires us to tell you how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information. Federal law also limits how we can use your personal information. Protecting the privacy and security of consumers' personal information is very important to us. When you create a subscription account, any personal information you provide is voluntary. We collect and use only the minimum information necessary to deliver the information you request. Information Collected and Stored Automatically

  • Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration guidelines.
  • Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.

Linking Policy
